Enjoy some pictures from this session!

Yesterday afternoon had a nice learning and knowledge sharing experience with Deepak & 16 other major HR front runners of Indore from Diaspark, Mphasis, Teleperformance, World Pay, Yash, Impetus, Systematix, Syscraft and Shraddhi Associates. Deepak Deshpande, Senior VP – Human Resources from Netmagic Solutions beautifully touched on the current trends in IT industry and how the workplace of tomorrow will take shape. He shared that Employee mobility and staffing flexibility are kicking off the traditional organization structure. To retain the top performers we need to offer choices, opportunities & respect and ice the cake with differentiated reward system.

Deepak emphasized that to act as true business partners HR will need to understand the working of business beyond the sales team pitch. Just like while making tea we know two extra boil may lose its taste similarly we need to understand the internal & external dynamics of our team. Although many organization have moved to the culture of not using the term employee or resources and address as Team Members, have open house, feedback surveys, skip level discussions and many more but still there is lot more that HR members need to do to actively engage with the team members and win their Trust. Trust is going to act as major retention tool. Following 7 step approach shared by Deepak would assist in gaining the trust of Team Members

Best part was the best practice sharing session where each one of us brought the unique attributes we are following in our organizations for discussions. It swirled lot many ideas in the room and gave us action items.

Thanks to Rajiv Vaishnav & Dr Chetan Sharma for their visit to our office post the session and share their plans of how we can uplift the presence of IT industry in Central India and insights about the initiative NASSCOM shall be coming up with.

Special Thanks to Deepak for spending a day with us and enlightening us with his experience. I thoroughly cherished it and based on the discussion in Whatsapp group can vouch everyone would like to have you back soon. Glad that we were able to create a platform to link the HR fraternity in the city. Let’s stay connected!
