Companies around the world are investing in hybrid and multi-cloud technologies to innovate and to meet evolving business needs. The biggest challenge that they face in adapting these technologies is managing and protecting their IT environment while building and running cloud-native applications.

Microsoft Azure Arc, a suite of technologies that extend Azure management and services to any infrastructure, address all the concerns of customers. It has the capability to provide flexibility and agility that customers seek while providing governance and security.

Run machine learning anywhere with Azure Arc

Azure Arc allows you to run Azure services in your Kubernetes environment, whether on-premises, multi-cloud, or edge. By using Azure Arc to extend Machine Learning (ML) capabilities to hybrid and multi-cloud environments, customers can use their investment in existing infrastructure to train ML models directly where their data resides. It reduces data movement while meeting security and compliance requirements.

Build cloud-native applications on a large scale anywhere with Azure Arc

With Azure Arc, developers can use Azure cloud DevOps and cloud-native configuration management on any infrastructure across on-premise, multi-cloud, and edge environments. Cloud practices are optimized for developers that need immediate and programmatic access to resources to create new cloud-native applications. It will help developers to build containerized apps with the tools of their likes. IT teams can use configuration as code to ensure that the apps are deployed, configured, and governed consistently using GitOps-based configuration management.

Use CNCF compliant Kubernetes

Azure Arc is built to work with Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) compliant Kubernetes distributions.

Update your data center with Azure Stack HCI and Azure Arc

Hyper-converged infrastructure is an ideal way for organizations to modernize their data centers and deploy key workloads in remote offices and branch offices. Azure StackHCI provides a high-performance, cost-effective hyper-converged infrastructure solution that can be managed directly from Azure.

As of now, Arc enabled servers and Arc enabled Kubernetes offerings are generally available.
